So many in the Afrikan community have succumbed to drug and alcohol addiction due to the stress, trauma, and pain inflicted upon us on a daily basis. I grew up in a neighborhood where most of my friends had parents addicted to crack cocaine. It was a hard reality. A lot of us, including myself have grown up around family members addicted to some type of illicit substance. it was definitely a situation screaming for a remedy,but the solution eluded me. one day, i read about iboga, or ibogaine, a plant found in west afrika that could help people free themselves from addiction. i did as much research as i could, even called clinics to find out the rates for treatment. treatment is expensive, of course. they are taking a plant that originates in afrika and selling it at a premium price, making it nearly impossible for afrikan people to receive treatment. illegal in the u.s., treatment is only available in europe and in a few caribbean islands. because it seems that government is intentionally keeping this information from the people, i wanted to share some info about this plant and how it could possibly be a miracle treatment for drug addiction.
